Body Talk Systems (Holistic Medicine)

About BodyTalk
BodyTalk is an astonishingly simple and effective form of therapy that allows the body's energy systems to be re-synchronized so they can operate as nature intended. Each system, cell and atom is in constant communication with each other at all times. Through exposure to the stresses of day-to-day life, however, these lines of communication can become compromised, which then leads to a decline in physical, emotional and/or mental well-being. Reconnecting these lines of communication enables the body's mechanisms to function at optimal levels, thus preventing disease and rapidly accelerating the healing process. In this way, BodyTalk stimulates the body's innate ability to balance and heal itself. BodyTalk can be used as a standalone system to treat many health problems or can be seamlessly integrated into any healthcare system to increase its effectiveness.
BodyTalk's major assets are its simplicity, safety and the speed of its results. It is non-invasive and objective in application and works effectively on humans and animals alike. Even if a BodyTalk technique is performed incorrectly, it simply means that there will be no result or change. It will not make things worse. It follows, therefore, that anyone who receives BodyTalk has nothing to lose and everything to gain as far as his or her health is concerned.

BodyTalk in Detail

The body is a complex and amazing mechanism, with each of its systems, cells and atoms in constant communication. Unfortunately, the stresses of everyday life can compromise these lines of communications or overload the energy circuits. To address this, the BodyTalk System provides a simple and effective form of therapy that allows the body’s systems to be re-synchronized so they can operate as nature intended – and effectively respond to injury and illness.
The BodyTalk System works by first identifying the weakened energy circuits within the body. The practitioner relies on the body’s inherent knowledge of itself to locate the energy circuits that need repair by using a form of biofeedback, which is a subtle muscle-testing technique.
For every malfunctioning energy circuit found, the practitioner or client contacts the corresponding “points” with his or her hands. The practitioner then lightly taps the client on the top of the head, which stimulates the brain center and causes the brain to re-evaluate the state of the body’s health. The result is that the general energy balance of the body is greatly improved.
The practitioner then taps the client on the sternum to “announce” the corrected energy flows to the rest of the body. This is beneficial because the heart is responsible for communicating the state of the body’s health to the rest of the body. Stimulating the heart by tapping the sternum forces the heart to store the corrected energy patterns in the body’s cellular memory. This means that the body will remember these changes after the treatment.
The BodyTalk treatment protocol is straightforward and requires no diagnoses. The practitioner relies on the guidance of the body’s natural wisdom to not only locate the weakened lines of communication but also to find the proper order in which they are to be addressed.
Just as the body heals a wound with a particular sequence of chemical reactions, the body wants to address all healing in a certain order. This concept is paramount in the balancing process to initiate the body’s ability to heal itself. The healing process usually follows rather quickly.

Love yourself

Having self love is so so important. Now I'm not talking about just taking care of your day to day activities, I mean actually doing the things that you enjoy, like reading a book that creates spiritual growth, going to the gym, getting your hair and nails done, to creating art, whatever it is that brings you complete JOY! Lots of times when we are in relationships we find ourselves so in complete bliss of feeling that joyful moment of passion, and love that we sacrifice ourselves. We give up or put aside the things that bring us inner joy and inner peace. My question to you all is how much sacrifice is okay and when does it become too much? I've had people tell me that if it is ment to be that people will make the time for each other, however what about a healthy balance?

** HUMM a healthy balance.** Balance is important. Because if your not okay with yourself and your own world, how can you be okay or (love) anyone else? What are your thoughts on this? Comments welcome.

Fully convinced
If you're having trouble taking action, it's probably because you haven't fully convinced yourself that it must be done. Once you truly convince yourself, you'll most certainly make it happen.
Perhaps you think it's something that is important. Yet there's a big difference between thinking it's important and knowing, without the least bit of doubt, that it must be done.
So if you're hesitant to take action, look within yourself for the reason why. Have the courage, and make the effort, to answer your own objections.
You may discover that you're not sincerely committed to achieving the results your actions would bring. And if that's the case, you can choose to either find that commitment or to move on to something else.
Your thoughts and actions are incredibly powerful. And to focus them in a particular direction, you must be absolutely convinced.
Convincing yourself is indeed a challenge, and that's as it should be. For when you truly convince yourself to do it, you have the power to make it so.
